Giuseppe Vizzari (english)
Giuseppe Vizzari was born in Milan, Italy on June 16, 1976. Currently he is assistant professor at the Department of Informatics, Systems and Communication, University of Milan-Bicocca.He had his degree in Computer Science at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Milan (Italy), in October 8, 2001. He received his PhD in Computer Science at the Department of Informatics, Systems and Communication of the University of Milan-Bicocca (Italy), in January 2005 (Thesis:
Knowledge Based Systems and Knowledge Management
- Definition of different pieces of knowledge and information required to develop a module for the expression of natural langage queries to databases, with a fuzzy evaluation of the adherence of the contents of the DB to user’s requirements and a dialogue-based approach to the interaction with the user
- Development of CBR systems supporting the design of production processes; in particular a case-based system for tyre curing processes design was designed and developed in the context of the P-Truck project
Models, Languages and Architectures for Multi Agent Systems (MAS)
- Design and development of a Multi Agent System for psychological profiling with role playing games based tests
- Application of the Multilayered Multi Agent Situated System (MMASS) model to complex distributed systems analysis, modeling and design
- Analysis of issues related to the design and implementation of a platform for the development of distributed systems based on the MMASS model
Research projects
- P-Truck since 2002 (Development of a tool for supporting product and production process design of trucks tyres)
- FuLL since 2002 (Development of a module for the expression of natural language queries to a database, with a fuzzy evaluation of user’s requirements and a dialogue based approach)
- MAIS (English) since 2003 (Design and development of context-aware applications in Multi Channel Adaptive Information Systems)
- SMES (English) (Social Mobile Entities in Silico) since 2005 (Multi-agent modeling and simulation of collective complex dynamical systems, such as crowds of pedestrian)
